The announcement this week of the prices for next year's season's tickets has left many of us and our fellow supporters feeling a little bruised. With the change in OAP age eligibility last year we are now likely to lose, if we believe all we are reading on social media, all concession pricing in Bands 1-4.
As an active member of the Independent Supporters Committee, we are in agreement with the disappointment stressed in the statement (see link below), and we will continue to work as part of the Committee to question the increases. Perhaps of more concern for those of us eligible for the ticket concession prices is the probability that, like many other Premier League Clubs. this discount is likely to disappear. The DSB are seeking clarification on who will be affected and when the changes take affect. Moreover, we will be seeking reassurance that the complimentary PA seat will remain in place as this will mean being able to attend games or not for so many of us.
We will keep you all informed.
