The countdown is now to this year’s Level Playing Field “Unite for Access” fortnight. This campaign focuses on raising awareness and driving equality for a more inclusive matchday experience for disabled sports fans.
We used the campaign in 22/23 to launch West Ham United’s Disabled Supporters Association, and again a year later to hand out badges and leaflets to promote the membership. This year we have been given the chance to do some filming in and around the Stadium to highlight some of facilities we have worked on. The footage is due to be showcased on the Stadium big screen the evening of the game against Leicester,on Thursday 27th February, 2025 alongside some new WHUDSA promotional concepts we have been working on. We are hoping many of you will make it to the match to see it live!
We have around 800 registered accessibility supporters with season tickets, we would love to see more members signing up to the Association. With a place on the official Fan Advisory Board, we need to ensure we are the voice of our disabled supporters especially now with all the uncertainty surrounding concession pricing. Please if you haven’t signed up do so now, and please ask those around you to do the same.
